We are always on the lookout for new talent and crypto-curious thinkers who share our passion for the future of finance. As a Tax Analyst, you will join our dynamic International Tax team, where you will assist in ensuring Bitstamp’s adherence to global tax regulations. Your primary focus will be on preparing and managing tax returns, help with transfer pricing documentation, and assist on optimizing our international tax strategy. By supporting tax planning and compliance efforts, you will help maintain Bitstamp’s status as a leading compliant centralized crypto exchange, while fostering innovative solutions in a rapidly evolving industry.
What you'll do
- Assist with tax compliance, focusing on the preparation of direct and indirect tax returns (VAT, CIT, Withholding Tax, Financial Transaction Tax, and other taxes).
- Help prepare documentation for transfer pricing purposes and other internal policies and frameworks for tax risk management.
- Support the analysis of various tax issues from an international tax perspective and assist with tax planning and optimization of the Group structure.
- Perform various supporting tasks related to the implementation and running of reports for AEOI purposes.
- Prepare communications with tax authorities and assist with external and internal audit processes.
On day one you'll bring
- At least 2 years of working experience in a tax consultancy firm / accounting department in a similar role.
- Qualified CTA/equivalent or University degree with focus on finance, law, tax.
- Experience in AEOI policies is a benefit.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent knowledge of English language.
