The Role:
Imply’s Finance Team is looking to hire a dynamic and driven Sr. Manager, FP&A, who will be a key contributor and owner of the critical financial FP&A systems as well as certain aspects of our business such as forecasting, modeling, and financial analysis and expense management. This position, working with the Finance and leadership teams, will build and run financial models, assist with quarterly Board meeting preparation, develop recommendations on how to improve the financial performance of our business, and uncover ways to make our business more scalable and efficient.
This individual will also assist with preparation of other business KPIs, investor reports, and internal dashboards. This position is ideal for a proven finance professional with experience at subscription, consumption, and month-to month businesses, who can own, manage, and personally perform the tasks required. The ideal candidate will have experience with businesses in the data analytics or data space.The Sr. Manager, FP&A must possess a solid knowledge of accounting and finance and have experience using accounting, budgeting, and planning software tools. Advanced Excel modeling skills, effective cross-functional working skills, exceptional attention to detail, and experience operating in a high-performing finance organization and company are a must.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain full financial models, including KPIs, financial statements, and Board reporting metrics. Re-forecast the business as appropriate.
- Assist in the production of internal, investor, and Board packages.
- Track, report on, and make recommendations regarding product profitability (GM%) on all product types.
- Partner with the Senior Management, Finance, and Analytics team to develop new and impactful reports. Develop insights through analysis and visualization of data.
- Assist with the production of the Annual Operating Plan and Forecasting KPIs (across the organization).
- Assist with the monthly close.
- Evaluate workflow, processes, and procedures to develop, recommend and implement changes that improve the accuracy and efficiency of the budget process.
- Perform ad hoc financial reports and analysis as needed
Requirements:
- BA/BS in finance, accounting, or economics; MBA preferred
- 8-10+ years of relevant experience at later stage venture backed growth companies (preferably in data or the data analytics space).
- Experience at consulting, investment banking, private equity, or other companies in financial / analytical roles is a plus.
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Salesforce and Intacct is a plus.
- Able to build complex financial models from scratch.
- Ability to balance attention to details while managing competing priorities and working with the team to achieve deliverables.

Individual compensation will be determined based on the candidate's experience and qualifications aligned with Imply’s internal levelings guidelines and benchmarks. The below range encompasses roles with on target earnings. This role is also eligible to participate in Imply’s equity plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.Compensation: $135,900 - $278,000Don’t meet every single requirement?
