Job Responsibilities:
The Systems Engineering Manager will execute the customer integration, commissioning, and systems validation processes across all product lines.Responsibilities include the following:
Provide direction over system integration across all Berkshire Grey products throughout existing customer facilities;Assist in maintaining Work Processes that improve timeliness of systems integration with customer, third party, and internal NPI solutions;Manage technical check lists and transition from Field Operations Installation team to Systems Engineering through Go-Live;Partner with Project Management, Product Management, and the Business Development team to refine and capture the key or missing requirements associated with your projects;Partner with Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply chain and Operations teams to rapidly identify system roadblocks, isolate the root cause, and move a solution forward to keep our timelines on track;Coach and mentor Field Applications Engineers on use of standard commissioning tool sets and when required, develop or action the development of new tool sets across all products to streamline our commissioning process;Lead a team of various Engineers on a commissioning team to adhere to scheduling and budget for deployments assigned to;Work with SEMs and Director on continuous improvement initiatives;Mentor Field Applications Engineers through rotational program via task management and training; andParticipate in the hand-off of production ready system to Field Operations team for customer operational training, production ramp, and contractual acceptance.Travel Requirement: 40% Domestic Travel and 25% International Travel Required Per YearEducation, Experience and Skills Requirements:Employer requires a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics Engineering, or a closely related field and at least three (3) years of work experience in any occupation involving fast-paced technology integration in a customer-facing technical contribution or field applications engineering role.Additionally, the successful candidate must have:
