A dedicated, detail-oriented individual to join our compliance team in a dynamic and rapidly growing company. As a Compliance Manager, you will be reporting to the Head of IT and Compliance and playing a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our compliance framework, working alongside various teams to ensure adherence to internal and external standards and controls.
Requirements
Your role will involve:
- Assisting with internal audits to ensure compliance with established standards.
- Supporting general compliance activities, including managing the risk register and reviewing policies.
- Handling security questionnaires and assisting in procurement reviews and audits.
- Identifying weaknesses in current processes and contributing to continual improvement efforts.
- Mapping out timelines for information security reviews, processes, and checks.
- Implementing new processes to enhance our compliance framework.
- Creating and improving policies.
- Developing and improving training programs on sustainability, ethics, fraud, and other compliance-related topics.
- Conducting company-wide spot checks to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
Minimal Requirements:
- A technical background with an understanding of compliance as a function
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail and client-facing experience
- You are forward-looking and keen to innovate
- Knowledge of GDPR requirements
- Experience maintaining one or more of the following certifications: ISO27001, SOC-2 Type 2, PCI and HIPAA
Preferred Requirements:
- Graduate from IT or similar related degrees, or have industry experiences in relevant roles before
- Experience working in a startup environment
- GenAI governance and Ethical AI use (ISO42001 implementation a bonus)
