This position focuses on providing eCommerce and related technology expertise to design, develop, and support on-line, customer-facing, eCommerce products.The successful candidate will have experience as a strong, hands-on technologist and should be comfortable working with multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You will contribute to the technology roadmap of your team and should have a good grasp on functionality of the product to deliver high quality, performant and reliable solutions. You should be able to plan out implementation schedules and adhere to development goals and best practices. You will work with other engineers, engineering/product managers, and QA team to develop product features that meet the market needs. Your responsibilities:- Work directly with the product owner for requirement clarification and also provide inputs to product team for a scalable UI design - Independently design, code, and test major features, as well as work jointly with other team members to deliver complex changes - Estimate engineering effort, plan implementation and roll out product features - Own continuous improvement and fine-tuning of front-end performance, scalability and security - Flexible approach to analyzing technical issues and clearly communicating recommendations/solutions - Proficient in agile development methodologies - Expected to deliver consistently with little supervisionWhat you bring to the table: - 5+ years of professional experience in developing react applications. - Designing, developing, and deploying highly responsive user interface components that are reusable, testable, and maintainable - Ability to translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code - Strong focus on quality, test automation and customer satisfaction.- Experience working on React, Typescript and Cypress Test Framework - Extensive experience implementing Progressive Web Applications (PWA) - Proficient understanding of web markup including HTML5 and CSS3 - (Preferred) Experience working with different cloud solutions like AWS, GCP, or Azure - (Preferred) Have experience in e-commerce
