A quick run-down of the job


The HR Operations Team Assistant will be responsible for supporting various activities in and around our remote office. This is an opportunity to help shape internal operations, promote our company culture, plan and execute events, and remove logistical hurdles in our fast-growing company. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to have a high impact in the workplace.

What you’ll do



  • Support the people and operations team on special projects and activities to ensure efficiency and effectiveness within the organization.

  • Oversee office-related tasks (ordering equipment and office supplies, handling basic IT tasks, etc.).

  • Plan and organize internal and external events, including monthly all-hands, dinners, conferences, team offsites.

  • Manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions while delivering high-quality experiences.

  • Coordinate logistics, including venue selection, travel arrangements, catering, and technical requirements.

  • Monitor and evaluate event outcomes, gathering feedback and insights for continuous improvement.

  • Company merch management.

  • Manage employee onboarding and pre-boarding processes, ensuring a smooth and engaging experience for new hires.

  • HRIS management.

  • Be responsible for internal communication, including organizing and assisting our All Hands meeting.

  • Process documentation on Notion.

  • Roll up your sleeves to get things done and cooperate with internal teams where necessary.

What makes a good candidate



  • Must be located in Berlin.

  • Previous experience from working in a tech startup.

  • Previous experience in roles related to the HR field or Executive Assistant.

  • Proactivity, attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.

  • A clear sense of ownership, responsibility and accountability for tasks.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction within the team and external stakeholders.

  • A high level of discretion and confidentiality to handle confidential data.

  • Willingness to quickly and successfully embrace and adapt change.

  • Willingness to learn and grow within the role.

  • Remote working experience is a plus.

  • German skills are a plus.

  • An understanding of blockchain technology and cryptocurrency concepts is a plus.

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is a plus.
