About the Senior AP/AR position

Our first two immersive shows Mesmerica and Beautifica are the fastest-selling planetarium shows ever, blowing minds and mending hearts with a potency unique to the immersive medium.
The Senior Accounts Payable/Receivable Administrator role:
With 170+ full and part-time staff and 30+ venues and growing, there are a lot of payments going back and forth each month. We are looking for a Senior Accounts Payable/Receivable Administrator to ensure everything is tracked accurately and paid on time. Your duties will also include managing payments of all company's creditors, team and venues in an accurate, efficient and timely manner.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage all accounts and incoming/outgoing payments
- Create and manage bills, invoices, and bank deposits
- Organize all kinds of financial transactions such as classifying, computing, posting, recording and verifying accounts receivables’ data, on a daily basis
- Review the accounts receivable ledger making sure all payments are accounted for and properly posted
- Take measures to ensure payment of invoices such as sending bill reminders and contacting customers
- Detect problems with venue payment issues and help to resolve them
- Prepare detailed financial statements and reports about accounts receivable status and present them to company's executives and senior managers
- Set up and maintain automation where it can be used to streamline workflow.
Senior AP requirements are:
- 3+ years' experience of working as a Senior AP/AR
- Significant experience with calculating, posting and managing accounting figures and financial records
- Excellent knowledge of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable/receivable principles
- Good practical experience with spreadsheets and bookkeeping software
- Good mathematical and data entry skills
- Good knowledge of MS Office/Google Cloud/Quickbooks, Xero or other cloud accounting software
- Good interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Accuracy, responsibility and close attention to detail
- (preferably) BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
