What We Need


UMortgage is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and executing marketing strategies for the Military Lending Division, with a focus on content strategy, content creation, video production, event coordination, and enhancing our social media presence. This role is crucial for building and maintaining strong relationships with referral partners and clients and increasing brand recognition.  

What You’ll Do



  • Plan, film, and edit videos in alignment with the UMortgage brand. 


  • Manage and publish content to YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other social media channels. 


  • Support with video production, content strategy, and content creation efforts for the Military Lending Division. 


  • Primary owner of the Military Lending Division’s social media calendar, with a focus on social engagement by utilizing creative thinking and ideas, as well as brand alignment. 


  • Primary owner of Google My Business page(s) for searchability, team updates, and reviews. 


  • Respond to social media messages, inquiries, and reviews. 


  • Support branch events with coordination of event logistics, vendor partnerships, promotion, and more. 


  • Ensure events align with branch objectives and contribute to positive brand building. 


  • Create and manage the marketing calendar to account for community and Veteran-focused events. 


  • Create engaging content, including videos, testimonials, and team member and partner spotlights. 


  • Implement media relations efforts to support branch visibility and brand building. This includes awards and recognition, thought leadership, and podcasts opportunities. 


  • Additional responsibilities related to business needs.   

What You Need



  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. 


  • Proven experience in marketing, video production, event coordination, and social media management. 


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 


  • Strong ability to stay on top of social media trends and best practices. 


  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 


  • Exceptional attention to detail, exemplifying outstanding grammar, language, and copywriting skills. 


  • Outstanding collaboration skills, with demonstrated confidence to engage with team and stakeholders across UMortgage. 


  • Quick learner with the ability to tap into the brand’s tone, look, and feel. 


  • Military experience is a plus. 


  • 2+ years of marketing experience.
