As a Director of Product Marketing, you will play a key role in the Revenue organisation. You will be responsible of developing and executing strategies that effectively position and promote our products, driving customer engagement, sales growth, and market share. This involves understanding market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to create compelling value propositions and go-to-market plans. Your efforts will impact our Banking, Accounting, Tax, and Payroll solutions and Advisor platform across Germany, the Netherlands, France, and Denmark.

We are looking for you if:

Your work will involve:


Strategic Market Leadership:


  • Develop and implement marketing strategies tailored for Germany, the Netherlands, France, and Denmark.
  • Understand and adapt to unique market needs and regulatory environments.

Digital Marketing and Innovation:


  • Explore and adopt new marketing technologies and innovations to enhance market reach and engagement.

Commercial Product Ownership:


  • Overall commercial responsibility for the product portfolio.
  • Operational responsibility is shared with local heads.

Cross-Market Coordination:


  • Ensure cohesive messaging and strategic alignment across all markets.
  • Coordinate with local marketing leads to maintain core brand values while localizing strategies.

Product Positioning and Competitiveness:


  • Oversee market research, competitor analysis, and customer feedback to fine-tune product USPs.
  • Evaluate and define product positioning in each market.

Pricing and Growth Strategy:


  • Harmonize pricing strategies to be competitive and suitable for each market.
  • Identify and pursue cross-market growth opportunities.

Product Launch and Event Coordination:


  • Plan and oversee tailored product launches and marketing events in each country.
  • Ensure that launches meet local market conditions and customer expectations.

Collaborative Efforts and Stakeholder Management:


  • Manage relationships with affiliates, partners, and internal teams across markets.
  • Facilitate seamless interaction between Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Support, and Product Development.

Reporting and Analytical Oversight:


  • Provide comprehensive reporting and forecasting for each market.
  • Adjust strategies based on performance metrics and market feedback.

Budget Management and Resource Allocation:


  • Oversee the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
  • Monitor expenditures and optimize budget use across different markets.

Leadership, Management & Development:


  • Lead Heads of Product Marketing.
  • Manage team performance and professional development to meet market-specific challenges.
  • Promote best practices and innovative marketing techniques within the organization.

Regulatory and Compliance Oversight:


  • Ensure all marketing activities comply with local regulations and industry standards.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and adapt strategies accordingly.

Requirements


To succeed in this role you:


  • Have near-native English and proficiency in at least one of the target market languages (German, Dutch, French, Danish)
  • +7 years experience in Marketing, including heading a multi-faceted Marketing organisation across several international markets
  • You enjoy frequent traveling
  • Experience successfully managing marketing strategies across multiple European markets
  • Motivational and inspirational skills leading through change.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Excellent client-facing and communication skills
  • Great collaboration skills and a big supporter of internal knowledge-sharing
  • Have no objection to handling demanding market challenges
  • Maintain the highest integrity and compliance in everything
  • Are happy to work from one of our European offices three days per week
