As the National Control Centre (Natcon) Manager you will be primarily responsible for the cost-effective functioning of the National Control Centre. With your keen attention to detail, data analytical skills, customer focus, effective communication, planning, prioritizing, and multitasking you will contribute to maintaining a secure environment for our clients.
Requirements:
A. Work Experience
1. Strong character and able to make decisions with minimum input from management.2. Excellent communicator (verbal, correspondence, report writing, typing).3. Experience in data management, security management (supervisor and area/contract manager), fleet and logistics management, quality management and at least 5 years control room management experience.4. Computer literate on all general operating systems (Microsoft platforms).5. Alarm management software experience (burglar- and CCTV alarm platforms).6.
Guard and Fleet monitoring software experience.7. Incident Management and Data Annalistic software experience.8. Excellent report writing skills, based on data capturing and analysis, graphs, trends/tendencies and recommendations.
B. Educational/Other Requirements
1. Relevant tertiary qualification2. Microsoft office experienced user3. Data management & administration4. PSIRA Grade A5. Project Management6. Driver License
Duties:
A. CONTROL CENTRE MANAGEMENT
1. Manpower scheduling & supervision (Onsite) support2. Incident Management3. Patrol Monitoring4. Communications Management5. Fleet Tracker Control6. Remote Audio/CCTV/Alarm Monitoring7. Reporting8. Administration9. Logistics10. Control Centre Staffing11. Training12. Generala. Implement and maintain the standard TSU confidentiality requirements of all National Control Centre activities.b.
General housekeeping requirements and maintain a professional Control Centre image.
B. RELIEVER TEAM MANAGEMENT
1. Manage Relievers list as per company requirements and allowed quantities;2. Supervising and implementing the most cost-efficient options for leave & absenteeism replacements;3. Implement and supervise staff scheduling and rostering;4. Ensure the company’s Relievers requirements are correctly staffed with trained and qualified Relievers;5. Deal with all staff related queries and maintain a high level of moral;6. Implement monthly staff meetings and evaluations;7.
Provide and maintain job descriptions for all staff;8. Implement a cross-training program to ensure trained Relievers are available for all sites at all times.
C. PROJECT MANAGEMENT
1. Document an Operational Plan for each project.2. Effective and professional Client and Project Team communication. 3. Coordinate and implement all project activities as per the Operational Plan.
D. IMPROVE OPERATIONAL COST EFFICIENCY
1. Coordinate Company vehicle trips to ensure the most cost-effective options.2. Reduce telephone and data costs by implementing the necessary control measures.3. Cost efficient deployment of Relievers to avoid over postings and unscheduled over time.4. Effective fleet related management (harsh driving/braking, over speeding, etc.)
E. GENERAL
