About the Job:
We are currently seeking a PR and Communications Intern for a challenging experience-based internship to contribute to an innovative and groundbreaking project in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Are you passionate about technology and looking to make your mark in the industry? Come join our dynamic team as we push the boundaries and create a game changer in the world of AI. You will have the unique opportunity to participate in a fully immersive internship where you will be contributing to public relations and communication engagement efforts.
This is designed largely as a remote placement however can also be a hybrid internship (Chicago or Toronto). In this engagement/applied learning internship you’ll gain unparalleled experience in a high-growth, dynamic environment, directly interfacing with senior management and largely different from any other internship. It will be a demanding internship and will require you to bring the best version of yourself to the table, but for those who embrace this, it will be a richly rewarding experience as well as a great compliment to your academic investment.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist in developing and executing PR and communication plans.
- Support media relations by helping build and maintain relationships with key media outlets and influencers.
- Contribute to the creation of press releases, social media content, and website updates.
- Help plan and manage press conferences, media events, and other PR activities.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of PR and communication activities, providing insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to build comprehensive campaigns that drive engagement and growth.
- Assist in maintaining and enhancing the company’s brand identity through consistent messaging.
About You:
- Currently pursuing or possessing a Master’s degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Understanding of media relations and social media platforms.
- Proficiency in using content creation tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Eager to learn and adapt to new challenges in the field of PR and communications.
- Passionate about AI and eager to contribute to the future of technology.
