About the Role:
We’re seeking a Director, E-Commerce to oversee Nanit’s full e-commerce strategy and sales channel. You’ll report directly to our Head of Revenue and will be a strategic thought partner to the organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth of nanit.com through enhancing site merchandising, refining our e-commerce operational processes, and partnering closely with the Marketing Team to ensure an optimized customer journey, improving the path to purchase.
What you'll be doing:
- Responsible for the topline revenue from nanit.com. Build and implement an e-commerce strategy that differentiates our owned channels from wholesale partners, driving double digit revenue growth.
- Build a budget and forecast in partnership with the finance team that aligns with company’s overall business strategy and larger Sales KPIs
- Drive online sales growth through effective merchandising, pricing and promotional strategies
- Partner with the Marketing team to strategically develop and leverage our e-commerce digital campaigns, including SEO, SEM, email and social media in an effort to maximize sales and increase LTV
- Develop site content calendar, working closely with Creative Team to drive execution
- Build out our marketplace strategy through dropship partnerships
- Work closely with Marketing and Product teams to enhance the customer journey on Nanit.com, providing direct feedback and insight into site usability and performance
- Oversee the integration of e-commerce tools, including website enhancements, site payment, CRM and other tools
- Own the Merchandising function of our e-commerce platform, ensuring e-commerce experience is optimized and reflects Nanit’s brand, voice and tone
- Study competitive landscape and help identify white space and strategic opportunities to drive customer traffic to our website
- Utilize analytics to report and prepare weekly sales review, re-cap and actionable insights to Head of Revenue
Who You Are:
- 7+ years of experience in e-commerce, startup experience is a plus, as is prior experience in the baby, tech or CPG companies
- Prior P&L ownership experience
- Proficient in e-commerce platforms, Shopify a plus
- Merchandising and buyer mentality with an understanding of product assortment and digital product placement
- Deep understanding of web analytic tools and digital marketing software
- Knowledge of customer behavior and able to translate insights and feedback into actionable strategies
- P&L management experience, experience scaling e-commerce sales
- Strong negotiation and sales skills, demonstrated experience managing portfolio of vendors and customers
- Self starter with a strong desire to grow. Passionate about working for a mission driven company.

This is a hybrid role that will require prospective candidates to be in our NYC headquarters 3 days per week.
Salary Range: $130,000 to $150,000 base salary, commission, equity and benefits. The base pay is one component of Nanit's total compensation package, which may also include access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, and basic life insurance. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
