About the Role
As our Director of Operations you will manage multiple teams supporting a variety of products to ensure customers are satisfied, risk is managed and work gets done quickly and efficiently.
Location
This is a hybrid role in our downtown Austin,Texas office.

Responsibilities
- Manage a growing set of operational teams including Customer Support, Claims Management and Work Order Management
- Define measurements, operational processes, and knowledge bases to make sure each team has exactly what it needs to be successful
- Coach and evaluate the team so they can maximize their strengths and improve their weaknesses
- Identify and hire talented and capable new team members that fit our strong culture and work ethic
- Provide a point of escalation as you become an expert in their various disciplines
- Your teams will be the closest ear to what our customers are telling us. Identify cross-functional opportunities for improvements in our technology, processes, sales strategy and anywhere else across the organization where our customers are telling us we can do better
About You
- 5+ years experience in operations roles
- A proven track record managing and improving teams as a great people manager
- Experience hiring and maturing teams
- Data driven mindset to impartially evaluate how we are doing and where we can get better
- Concrete examples of where you’ve identified and executed on opportunities for improvement
- Deep understanding of and appreciation for great customer experiences
- Eager to roll up your sleeves to address whatever new challenge crops up
- Strong accountability, work ethic, and sense of urgency
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to constructively speak up for how things could be improved
