About the Job:
As a Performance Marketing Specialist, you will play a key role in the paid marketing team. You will be leading projects in our online advertising (on Meta, Google, Bing, ASA, etc.) with a major impact on results. With new and innovative ideas, you will help take Ageras’ advertising to the next level. Your day-to-day work will involve creating campaigns, and reaching our customers through a variety of channels: Google Ads, Meta, affiliates, etc. You will work with peers and leaders across functional teams, and interact with different product and marketing teams, across our offices in Copenhagen, Berlin, Amsterdam, Helsinki, Gdańsk, and Philadelphia countries.
The customer audience is primarily in one of our core markets, which comprises Germany, Denmark, The Netherlands, and France.
Your work will involve:
- Campaign Management (SEM & SoMe):
- Assist with campaign planning and setup, including ad creation, keyword research, audience segmentation, and implementing A/B testing.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (content and product teams).
- Budget Management:
- Assist with developing paid entity strategies.
- Monitor spending, track performance, and adjust budget allocations based on performance and business priorities.
- Performance Analysis and Optimisation:
- Monitor campaign performance metrics and make data-driven optimisations.
- Run statistical analyses and provide recommendations for our ads and ad creatives' performance for our paid marketers and designers.
- Conduct audience segmentation analysis to identify high-value customer segments and target them with relevant messaging and offers.
- Analyse test results and conclude to inform future testing strategies and campaign optimisations.
- Reporting and forecasting:
- Generate regular reports and dashboards to track campaign performance and forecast the next month's performance and budgets.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product marketing and brand & content teams to align on paid marketing strategies.

To succeed in this role you:

- Have proven experience in performance marketing or affiliate marketing (or both) with 3+ years in the field.
- Have studied a BSc/MSc in Marketing, Management, or a related field.
- Have a strong understanding of digital marketing channels and campaign optimization techniques.
- Are analytical and data-driven, making data-driven decisions effectively.
- Can manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize them effectively.
- Plan and execute performance marketing campaigns across Paid Search, Paid Social, display advertising, and affiliate marketing, with knowledge of MMPs, GA4, Mixpanel, Tableau/Looker, and similar tech stacks being a big plus.
- Create compelling ad copy, A/B test, and develop new targeting strategies to reach the desired audience and optimize campaign results.
- Measure and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), CPAs, ROI, CAC, LTV, etc., while identifying and implementing new ways to improve marketing efforts.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices, implementing them in campaigns. You are excited about new technologies and how they can make your day-to-day work more efficient.
- Collaborate closely with other marketing teams to ensure alignment and maximize campaign impact.
- Are fluent in English; German, Dutch, Danish, and especially French are considered a plus.
- Are happy to work from one of our offices (Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Berlin, Helsinki, or Gdańsk) three days per week.
