About the Job:
Become a pivotal member of our Revenue team and drive our marketing activities to new heights. As the Head of Performance Marketing, your expertise will significantly impact Ageras’ growth through innovative and effective paid marketing initiatives.In this role, you will oversee Ageras’ paid marketing activities across our SaaS-based banking and accounting software suite targeting small businesses in our core markets in France, Denmark, The Netherlands, and Germany. You will manage a growing team of 5-7 members and report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer, playing a key role in our ongoing transformation efforts.Your day-to-day work will involve managing and overseeing our paid marketing activities across product lines and markets, and being in charge of the entire paid marketing budget.
You will collaborate closely with peers and leaders across functional teams, including the Chief Revenue Officer, Director of Product Marketing, Head of Brand & Content, and our Data Team. Engaging with stakeholders from Product, Engineering, Sales & Partnership, and Customer Success will be essential. We are seeking someone willing to be hands-on, diving deep into the details to ensure success at every level.Your focus will be on optimizing our existing paid customer acquisition while identifying and implementing new growth opportunities. Your work will involve:
- Performance Strategy Development:
- Developing and implementing long-term user acquisition strategies.
- Identify opportunities for growth and optimisation within our paid marketing channels.
- Leadership, Management & Development:
- Build, lead, and mentor a team of paid marketing specialists.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and professional development opportunities to foster growth and success.
- Digital Marketing and Innovation:
- Develop and implement digital marketing campaign strategies, leveraging social media, SEO, SEM, and other online channels.
- Explore and adopt new marketing technologies and innovations to enhance our market reach and engagement.
- Campaign Management:
- Plan and oversee the execution of campaigns across various channels and platforms.
- Develop campaign briefs, creative assets, and messaging strategies in collaboration with the content team.
- Budget Management:
- Planning, allocating, and managing the budgets for all paid channels, optimizing for profitable growth
- Reporting and forecasting:
- Communicate performance and insights to stakeholders and provide actionable recommendations.
- Technology and Tool Management:
- Evaluate, select, and implement paid marketing tools.
- Stakeholder alignment:
- Stakeholder alignment on needs and innovation for reporting, tracking
- Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, laws, and industry standards governing paid marketing activities (e.g. data privacy).
Requirements
To succeed in this role you:
- Have at least 7 years of experience in performance marketing.
- Have an aptitude for handling the big picture in paid marketing, while keeping attention to detail and being data-driven.
- Have extensive knowledge and experience with SEM (Google ads, LinkedIn ads, Meta Ads, Apple search ads, Microsoft ads), Google Analytics (GA4), affiliate marketing, and partnerships.
- Have experience in managing a team within this domain.
- Are fluent in English, other languages German, Danish, Dutch, and especially French will be considered a plus.
- Have an independent work style with a strong collaborative team spirit.
- Have experience managing a budget of over €5 million.
- Are happy to work from either our Berlin, Copenhagen, or Amsterdam office (with the possibility of working from home on Wednesdays and Fridays).
