Description:


New Engen is seeking a results-driven and innovative Senior Manager, Client Strategy to join our team. This role is critical in translating client business and marketing strategies into communication and media objectives that drive brand equity, market share, and profitable growth. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of digital channels, business, strategy, excel in crafting compelling stories, and demonstrate strong leadership and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities:


  • Support both new and existing clients to drive new revenue
  • Contribute to winning new business, expanding existing accounts, and enhancing the agency's reputation
  • Engage with new and returning clients to showcase the agency's strengths
  • Expand current clients' services through channel expansion or revenue increase
  • Develop and execute winning strategies for pitches
  • Participate in acquiring new clients and retaining existing clients by showcasing agency strengths
  • Maintain expertise in digital marketing channels and emerging trends
  • Create tailored strategies to meet specific industry needs
  • Lead and contribute to content marketing and thought leadership initiatives
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure cohesive client strategies
  • Drive internal initiatives contributing to CST's and agency's success
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with clients
  • Utilize data and analytics to inform strategies and measure effectiveness
  • Craft concise, engaging, and inspiring stories for clients
  • Build trust with clients and become a trusted advisor by demonstrating expertise in their business
  • Implement a growth-hacking approach to unlock growth and develop new case studies

Strategy & Insights:


  • Translate client business and marketing strategies into communication and media objectives
  • Conduct research to identify insights related to clients, their category, competitors, priority consumers, and communication channels
  • Develop consumer-led strategies to identify sources of growth and define the role of communications and media

Connections Planning:


  • Collaborate with account leads to develop audience strategies aligned with client growth sources
  • Utilize research and planning tools to provide guidance on channel mix and investment allocation across digital channels
  • Partner with activation teams to identify and develop partnership guidelines and strategic opportunities

Collaboration with Sales:


  • Align on goals and strategies through joint planning sessions
  • Assist in qualifying leads and crafting pitch presentations
  • Provide regular updates and training to the sales team
  • Participate in discovery calls to understand client challenges and goals
  • Maintain regular meetings and clear communication with the sales team
  • Support ongoing strategy implementation and account management
  • Review and adjust strategies based on performance and feedback

Requirements:


  • 6-10 years of proven experience in planning across all digital channels
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate with a variety of personalities and levels
  • Strong team management skills
  • Resourcefulness and proactive thinking
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • Expertise in using planning tools (Kantar, Pathmatics, SimilarWeb, Resonate, & e-Marketer etc) to find key insights
  • Consumer-driven perspective combined with a business outcomes-focused view
  • Ability to analyze data and report on campaign performance

Salary Range: $100,000 - $115,000


The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and experience uniquely.
