Do you like to describe yourself as a webmaster and are you looking for the next exciting challenge? We are looking for a Senior SEO Specialist to join our ambitious content marketing team and help us reach new heights in our organic growth.
Your work will involve:
- Keyword Research and Analysis: Conduct keyword research to identify relevant search terms and phrases that align with the local market. This involves analysing search volume, competition, and user behaviour to prioritise keywords for content optimisation and strategic targeting.
- On-Page, Blog & AppStore Optimisation: Optimising content, including titles, meta descriptions, headers, and body copy, to improve search engine visibility and relevance for target keywords. This also includes optimising images, URLs, and internal linking structures to enhance crawlability and indexability for search engine bots.
- Technical SEO Audits and Implementation: Conducting technical audits to identify and resolve issues that may impact website performance in search engines: site speed, mobile-friendliness, crawl errors, broken links, and XML sitemaps, and implementing solutions to improve site health and usability.
- Link Building and Off-Page Optimisation: Developing and executing local link-building strategies to acquire high-quality backlinks from reputable websites. This involves outreach, relationship-building, and content promotion to earn links naturally and enhance the website's authority and credibility in the eyes of search engines.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Organic traffic, keyword rankings, conversion rates, and backlink metrics to measure the effectiveness of SEO efforts.
- Cross-department collaboration: You stay up to date in your field and implement the best trends from the SEO world. You work across departments. That includes communicating regularly with our development team who are responsible for the coordination and implementation of important SEO measures.
Requirements
To succeed in this role you:
- You have at least 3 years of experience in SEO on an agency or company side.
- You have a strong sense of language and excellent English skills. German, French, Dutch, Danish, or other nordic languages are considered a plus.
- You are extremely data-savvy and closely follow the latest developments of well-known search engines.
- You are experienced in working with common SEO and web analysis tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, Sistrix, Ryte, Screaming Frog, etc.).
- You have a highly customer-centric approach to SEO. - You start with the client and work backward from there.
- You have excellent analytical skills and a deep understanding of webmaster tools and web analytics platforms.
- You are happy to work from one of our main offices (Berlin, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Helsinki) three days per week.
