What you will do:
- Management, negotiation and drafting of contracts for all aspects of Lydia’s activity: strategic partnerships agreements, supplier’s agreements, terms and conditions ;
- Ensure that all our products are properly framed from a legal point of view, especially regarding our regulatory obligations (must have : banking & financial regulation);
- Provide legal guidance and develop solutions to product development and expansion ;
- Work closely with all the other stakeholders (in particular product teams, marketing teams, customer care, compliance) in order to become a business partner ;
- Build processes with other teams (creating templates, providing guidelines, reports etc.) in order to facilitate legal compliance within Lydia ;
- work closely with the junior legal counsel and head of legal on legal and/or regulatory issues.
You are in the right place if:
- You have more than 5 years PQE as in-house legal counsel
- You have at least 5 years of experience a financial and regulated environment (fintech or bank experience required) ;
- You have a strong knowledge banking and financial regulations ;
- You adopt a pragmatic approach and act as a true business partner ;
- You are resourceful, thrives in a fast-paced and metrics-driven environment ;
- You are a hard worker ans have a very good team spirit.
