Your Job
The Chief Financial Officer of Sparteo is responsible for overseeing all financial activities, providing strategic financial guidance, and ensuring the company's financial health. This position requires a forward-thinking leader capable of balancing strategic planning with practical financial operations management.
To specify
Financial & Accounting Management:
- Supervise accounting, audits, and taxation; evaluate existing services (teams, processes, tools, suppliers), and maintain all or part of the scope.
- Support internationalization in compliance with local regulations.
Cash Flow and Risk Management:
- Monitor forecasted cash flows and manage treasury, optimize working capital requirements.
- Implement foreign exchange hedging strategies.
- Manage financial risk of SSP clients and advertisers: credit insurance, credit limits, etc.
FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis):
- Supervise management control and cost optimization. Implement real-time analytical monitoring.
- Budget preparation and monitoring: Coordinate and prepare budgets in collaboration with business teams, track and analyze variances, assess the financial impacts of strategic and operational decisions. Simulate various scenarios to guide business strategy and facilitate decision-making.
Funding:
- Supervise financing strategies and financial engineering through dilutive and non-dilutive financing.
- Bank financing, factoring, and financing for innovation and development (grants, BPI, R&D tax credit, etc.).
- Manage fundraising/M&A, handle relationships with potential investors and service providers, manage due diligence processes.
Corporate:
- Manage relationships with investors and shareholders.
- Financial communication with our partners and develop a visibility strategy around our results (e.g., FT 1000).
- M&A strategy: Identify acquisition or divestment opportunities aligned with the company's strategy.
- Manage internal control.
Leadership and Innovation:
- Lead and develop the financial team to ensure optimal performance and foster the Sparteo culture.
- Implement automation tools and AI to eliminate repetitive tasks, identify anomalies and risks, and conduct predictive analyses.
- Implement data visualization and data analysis tools to aid in understanding and decision-making.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
Has proven experience as a Head of Finance or in a similar role within a technology company in a rapidly growing environment across multiple countries.
Has at least 2 years of experience in a tech company.
Has supported fundraising and investor relations.
Has strong experience in an international environment, particularly in Anglo-Saxon contexts.
Shares our hunger for improvement, data-driven decision-making, and a desire to systematize, automate, and maximize efficiency. This approach enables teams to focus on high-value operations and drive the company forward.
Is fluent in both English and French.
