What we’re looking for 🔎
The Splash Professional Services team helps the world’s top brands solve their scaled event marketing challenges by utilizing our software to provide workflow, flexible, creative, and powerful integrations, and reporting with meaningful insights in regards to their event marketing operations and strategies. You'll become an expert Splash user while developing a deep understanding of event marketing program execution and analytics.The Engagement Manager will own and manage the delivery of our SaaS Event Marketing solution to customers in diverse industries and segments, collaborate with them while focusing on absolute efficiency.
The Engagement Manager will work with a great group of talented resources and will participate in and lead weekly/monthly client stakeholder touch points, internal project team meetings, evaluate the best execution for the projects, and seek opportunities for customer expansion.
In this role, you’ll get to…
- Oversee multiple assigned Implementation Projects within the Professional Services department, ensuring successful delivery, adherence to project goals and timelines, and high-quality outcomes.
- Provide expert knowledge and best practices on the implementation process for new customers and existing customers expanding their programs.
- Manage project deliverables, change orders, escalations, report on milestone status, and proactively identify and mitigate project risks.
- Coordinate and allocate internal resources in alignment with the project timeline and budget through customer acceptance.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and internal teams, including Sales, Customer Success, Engagement, and Service Delivery, to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
- Provide a consultative approach by building and maintaining great customer relationships to make each project successful for both the client and Splash and seek ways to expand existing client relationships and form new client relationships
- Develop and maintain a deep knowledge of the Splash platform, the business processes involved in partnering automation, and best practices in partner management
- Strong business acumen, platform knowledge, and understanding of customer needs, with the ability to identify new business opportunities.
- Manage implementations where key metrics related to conversion or productivity are required for further expansion
- Participate in the pre-sales process to fully understand the client and their needs, tasks, and gathering requirements. Prepare Statements of Work.
- Leverage office productivity software (e.g. Salesforce, Google Sheets, Microsoft Office, Google Sheets, JIRA/Confluence, Mission Control, and Project Planning tools)
- Drive process improvements to streamline work and provide a higher value to our customers including Project Retros
- Inspire team with drive and motivation needed to aggressively meet commitments
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in an applicable field
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in Software Implementations, Engagement Management, Project Management, Management Consulting, or Enterprise Software participating in and leading large, complex projects within an enterprise-wide environment.
- Knowledge of/Experience with hybrid methodologies across Waterfall (Traditional, Iterative) and Agile (Scrum, Kanban)
- Effective and detail oriented communication skills: written, spoken, Zoom, and presentations
- Proven ability to deliver highly accurate written documentation
- Self-motivated and capable of prioritizing and delivering tasks independently
- Highly skilled at interfacing with all levels of an organization and with direct customer/client management experience.
- Ability to negotiate with clients and manage contracts/Statements of Work
- Demonstrated ability to drive large, highly complex programs in a fast-paced, matrix management organization
- Ability to effectively and efficiently to identify potential issues that aid in decision making by mitigating risks and evaluate potential change orders (risk mitigation, change management)
- Ability to effectively prioritize workload and tasks to meet deadlines
- Ability to meet small travel requirement (10% maximum) - when relevant
- Project Management Professional (PMP/PMI) certification is helpful, but not required.
- Experience with Partnerships and resellers is helpful, but not required.
- Strong ability to create project documents for collaborative client needs and internal instructional documentation for project records

$78,000 - $88,000
for those who are located in the United States. In addition to your cash compensation, every full-time employee will be able to participate in our employee equity program. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including your experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.
