Job Description:

ACT1 Federal is seeking a Senior Joint Operations Support Staff (JOSS) Sensitive Activities Technician. This program provides support to the USSPACECOM Joint Operations Sensitive Support (JOSS) office/staff. Generally, you will provide the client with JOSS augmentation to the government staff in the execution of the command JOSS program. The client anticipates a high level of knowledge on the full breadth of JOSS supporting worldwide operations.
Responsibilities:• Executing four due diligence assessments (DDA) each year IAW DoD policy throughout the operational lifecycle• Developing and submitting CONOPs that include the scope and intent of the DDA for approval• Applying operational security (OPSEC) protocols to research, data storage, transmission, and report writing activities• Applying identity management protocols to assess risk to personnel and missions and provide mitigation strategies to decision makers • Identifying mission critical vulnerabilities, assess risk to mission, and provide mitigation strategies to decision makers• Delivering comprehensive written reports and verbal briefs that clearly articulate findings and recommendations to decision makers• Maintaining currency on key technologies and capabilities, to include ubiquitous technical surveillance, that impact JOSS missions• Developing and maintaining familiarity working within the Joint Community (processes, structure, C2, etc.)• Understanding and applying DoD policy requirements for JOSS and apply to space operations, training and force development• Facilitating JOSS-enabled requirements through mission analysis, planning, development, and staffing• Interpreting, analyzing, and evaluating USSPACECOM JOSS requirements, identify and develop courses of action to meet mission requirements• Conducting mission analysis, due diligence, and risk analysis to inform Combatant Command leadership decisions• Providing direct support to Combatant Command throughout the operational lifecycle, to include planning, development, implementation, and termination• Conducting open-source research, as directed by the client, in preparation for due diligence and threat assessments• Reporting significant events/incidents**Physical Demands: Travel may be required**

Requirements


• Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to be SAP cleared• BA/BS degree or additional experience• FOSS or equivalent (Advanced Technician Course, Advanced Planners Course, Due Diligence Course)• Minimum of three (3) years of DoD sensitive activities experience• Minimum of eight (8) years overall experiencePreferred:• MA/MS Degree• Seven (7)+ years DoD Sensitive activities experience

Benefits


The likely salary range for this position is $120,000 - $125,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
