Duties:
Independently plan and execute all phases of application development projects to deliver solutions for data network management and optimization, including the design of safeguards for distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks. Act as the primary technical liaison to clients and end-users and be responsible for identifying and qualifying the critical requirements for the application services and solutions to be built. Apply knowledge of industry-standard methodologies, development tools, languages, and frameworks to execute development tasks, including Object-oriented Development, Java, Spring, JavaScript, TypeScript, database structures, and Elastic Search technologies for web development.
Apply understanding of Internet Traffic and the TCP/IP protocol to execute analysis of network data-packet flow for Internet traffic to identify constraints and opportunities that will impact the development effort. Plan and implement scalable software architecture to support multiple services within clients’ networks and customer portals. Be responsible for designing and implementing application solutions and tools optimized for industry-leading network devices (Juniper Network and Arbor) that will accommodate the large volumes of data generated by clients’ network traffic.
Apply functional knowledge of Distributed Denial of Service (DDOS) methods and concepts to design security safeguards within delivered solutions or for configuration within networks. Execute release management of the developed solution to the production environment. Provide onboarding support and training to junior developers related to the organization’s SOPs on reviewing, troubleshooting, and debugging developed application code. Communicate and collaborate effectively with clients and team members on application design and solution approaches to meet customer deliverables.
Basic Requirements:
Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering. Two years of experience in the occupation or in a related Software Developer or Computer Programmer position.
Specific Technical Requirements:
2 years of experience developing application solutions employing JAVA, JavaScript, TypeScript, and the related frameworks Spring, and Spring Boot.2 years of experience applying data structures and employing Elastic Search technologies to execute Web-based application development.
