Val Media is a Malaysian-based media company with an audience spanning across Southeast Asia. We are the company behind ProductNation, a media brand renowned for its innovative approach to video content creation, especially in the consumer tech sector.
We are seeking a data-fluent Ad Operations Executive to manage our paid media efforts, manage campaign success and data analysis into campaign performance. This role requires a person who is organised, logical and good with numbers - you’ll learn how to use data to make business decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Manage media buys on Meta, TikTok, Google and other digital platforms.
- Keeping track of paid campaign deliverables and generating reports based on campaign results.
- Manage, plan, run experiments and split tests on social media platforms.
- Data analytics and periodic health checks for media buys, content strategy and platform performance.
- Manage monetisation (adsense, affiliate marketing accounts).
Requirements:
- Good with numbers and ability to make logical decisions based on data.
- Understanding of basic digital marketing principles.
- Familiarity with all social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok etc).
- Familiarity with major digital ad platforms (Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads).
- Ability to converse in English. Ability to converse in Malay and Chinese is a plus.
- At least intermediate level with either Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 1 year experience in either social media or ad operation roles
- Ability to work with databases (such as SQL) is a plus
