Duties:
Plan and execute all phases of application development projects to convert client’s technical specifications and business problems/requirements into coding and applications to implement and optimize web-based Financial Services systems. Interact directly with clients and end-users and be responsible for the overall planning and implementation of the initial requirements analysis to identify and qualify the critical requirements for the application services and solutions to be built. Employ standard methodologies, development tools, languages, and frameworks to develop and deploy solutions, including Object Oriented Development, Java, JavaScript, Struts, Spring, MySQL, MongoDB, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Apply a general understanding of Fixed-income (Bond) assets and the Federal Home Loan Bank system to map out the provisioning flow of Fixed-income assets and establish the essential solution architecture, components, services, and features for the new or optimized applications under development. Evaluate and qualify opportunities to improve application system performance through cloud-based technologies (Amazon Web Services) and develop plans for integrating these services into new or existing solutions. Plan and execute the deployment of developed solutions to the production environment employing Docker and Kubernetes.
Provide onboarding support and training to junior developers related to the organization’s SOPs on reviewing, troubleshooting, and debugging developed application code. Communicate and collaborate effectively with clients and team members on application design and solution approaches to meet customer deliverables.
Basic Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering. Two years of experience in the occupation or a related Software Developer or Computer Programmer position.
Specific Technical Requirements:
2 years of experience developing application solutions employing Java, JavaScript, and the related frameworks Spring and Spring Boot) 2 years of experience developing application solutions that integrate Amazon Web Services.2 years of experience employing MySQL and Sybase DB
