This position will oversee Company’s accounting operations in multiple daily/monthly tasks. This position will also be responsible for the preparation of account reconciliations by compiling and analyzing data in multiple complex area of the Company’s general ledger. This position will serve as a key liaison for gathering information / requests for multiple teams, including tax, FP&A, and management.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Compile/analyze data for significant account reconciliations such as Investments, available for sale securities purchases and sales, fair value/CECL reserve calculations, and capitalized development accounting
- RPA Bot governance, management, testing and troubleshooting
- Review cash reconciliation process leveraging enhanced Oracle ERP, dividend analysis, fixed assets and lease accounting
- Prepare account reconciliations to ensure integrity of account balances. Research and propose resolution for discrepancies or identified issues
- Prepare well-supported journal entries to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
- Focusing on improving the quality and speed of existing processes through digital proficiency
- Participate in the development and execution of new accounting operations processes to support the Company’s ongoing significant growth
- Prepare or review ad-hoc reports to support various internal and external requests, as needed
Requirements
- CPA or CPA track
- Understanding of US GAAP and practical application in a corporate accounting environment
- Aptitude for machine learning and data management acumen
- Comfortable with learning, developing, and using digital technologies (SQL, Snowflake, Power BI, Blackline) Proficient with Microsoft Office such as Excel (pivot and lookup tables)
- Experience with Oracle Fusion highly preferred
- Embrace technology tools and new ways of working
- Strong problem-solving techniques/ creative thinker
- Business analytics familiarity
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and work with multiple deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of multi-disciplined teams.
- An overall can-do attitude, the ability to grasp new concepts quickly, and willingness to adapt to a dynamic work environment.
$80,000 - $90,000 a yearThis position is also eligible for an annual incentive bonus based on individual and company performance. Yearly incentive bonus target 10% of base salary.
