Tasks such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, and managing, organizing, and retrieving stock are essential to serving our customers at the highest level.OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Welcome delivery trucks

  • Receive and track shipments
  • Load merchandise onto delivery trucks using appropriate tools
  • Track and document exact shipment arrival and departure times
  • Tag and label merchandise
  • Label and organize merchandise according to size, shape, and type
  • Box, wrap, and pack merchandise in accordance with relevant procedures and standards
  • Prepare all orders for shipment
  • Record and manage damaged merchandise items
  • Operate adequate merchandise management tools (pallet jack, scissor lift, forklift)
  • Enter data in inventory and logistics software programs
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
  • Forklift Operation Certification a plus
  • At least 1 year of previous working experience in a warehouse environment
  • Hands-on experience with warehouse, inventory, and logistics software programs
  • Great physical stamina and manual dexterity
  • Team player
  • Good organizational and time-management skills
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Problem solver

  • Ability to lift heavy items safely and operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks

  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment on concrete flooring and in varying temperatures
