Investment Program Manager within its Managed Program team to oversee and grow the Mid-Atlantic and Northeastern territory. Although this is a growing territory, this position is currently focused on managing and developing investment programs with multiple credit unions and banks located in various states primarily Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Upstate New York. While this is a remote (work from home) position, the ideal candidate will reside within the Tri-State area; however, consideration will also be given to candidates who live outside of the territory and will need to travel into market routinely as necessary.The winning candidate will enjoy a healthy, well-supported position with CFS where career growth is clear.

Job Description:
The Program Manager is responsible for the development, implementation, and management of a comprehensive investment services/wealth management program for Credit Union members from multiple credit union partnerships within the territory. In partnership with the program executive teams, the Program Manager develops and executes comprehensive strategy/business plans for growth, performing program manager responsibilities for each program, and coordinates these plans within all relevant credit union departments.
Manage a team of licensed investment advisors and support staff in their client management, production, and business development responsibilities. This includes offering professional financial advice and developing financial plans to help members manage assets to meet short-term and long-term financial goals. Reviews and evaluates all alternative non-deposit investment and insurance product sales for congruency with member financial needs and Credit Union philosophy.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Directly responsible for program business plans for assigned programs in partnership with the Regional Manager. Accountable for achieving program annual and long-term growth targets through the execution of the core activities within the plan.
- Develops and maintains a relationship with the executives at all assigned programs through regular virtualand in person meetings.
- Develops assigned individual advisors’ business plans and ensures successful execution of those plans.
- Works with Regional Manager to develop and execute program marketing plans.
- Manages and holds assigned representatives accountable for activities and production targets based on the individual business plans using weekly activity reports, pipeline management and other appropriate accountability tools.
- Communicates with advisors on scheduled basis in person and electronically using weekly, quarterly, and annual sales reports.
- Coach advisors around standards of performance as determined by Regional Manager and CFS.
- Partners with practice management team to onboard new and existing advisors and to assist with coaching existing advisors to Standards of Performance
- Ensures new and existing representatives are consistently using a structured sales process, incorporating MoneyGuidePro, and leveraging technology tools through UNIO.
- In partnership with the Regional Manager determines optimum staffing levels and is responsible for recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of new advisors.
- Continues to network and recruit future advisors to fill open positions in timely manner.
- Conducts regularly scheduled performance reviews for assigned advisors including 90-Day review.
- Ensures new advisors are meeting time-frame production and activity targets established in the initial ramp up calculator and onboarding schedule.
- Sets and keeps consistent working hours in support of the assigned managed programs.
- Supports Company Mission and Corporate Values.
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of advisory platform and how to help advisors increase their advisory practice.
Requirements:
- Series 7, 66, and Life licenses are required. May be required to obtain Series 24 registration. Clean U-4.
- CFP® and other industry designations preferred.
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; or 5+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Securities and Life Insurance sales experience required.
- Previous management and sales coaching experience is mandatory.
- Ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
- Demonstrates employee advocacy and continues to develop reputation as neutral and approachable in mediating concerns between managed program personnel and the financial institution.
- Ability to present information effectively both orally and in writing and to respond clearly and appropriately to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Public speaking experience preferred.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal effectively with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Competitive compensation plan includes a base salary combined with a variable compensation plan based on production and gross revenue generated by assigned territory with OTE of $175k to $225k, along with a comprehensive benefits package.EOE**Representatives are employed and registered through CFS (Member FINRA/SIPC).
