YPrime’s Quality team is looking for a Quality Investigation Engineer to lead investigations into software defects and collaborate with software developers, product managers, and customer support teams to gather user feedback. You'll be based in our Malvern, Pennsylvania Headquarters.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 1-2 years experience in software quality assurance with a focus on problem-solving and quality improvement
- Strong analytical skills
- Proficiency in using software diagnostic tools
- Proficiency in SQL and C# programming languages
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of explaining complex issues clearly and concisely
- Attention to detail
Here are some more details about the job:
- You'll employ systematic problem-solving techniques such as Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), and Cause and Effect Diagrams to uncover underlying issues in software design and functionality
- You'll develop detailed corrective and preventative action plans (CAPAs) to enhance software reliability and prevent future issues
- You'll document findings and recommendations in comprehensive investigation reports, and present these to senior management and key stakeholders
- You'll monitor the implementation of solutions to ensure they effectively resolve issues without introducing new problems
- You'll stay abreast of new technologies and methodologies that could improve the investigation process or software quality
- You'll assist in preparing for external audits and ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 27001, ISO-8000, Health Authority regulations, and other relevant software quality standards
