We are looking for a Director, Professional Services, to join our Professional Services Organization (PSO) at Bridgeway Benefit Technologies. As the Director, PSO, you will play a crucial role as a strategic leader within our Professional Services Organization. Working closely with the Senior Vice President (SVP), you will help define and shape the overall PSO strategy. You will have broad authority and responsibility over the department, making strategic decisions and implementing policies that have a significant impact on other departments and business results.
This is a remote position, with travel 0-20% of the time within the U.S. and Canada. East Coast candidates are strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with the SVP to define the PSO strategy, ensuring alignment with the organization's overall strategic direction. Regularly report on work progress, obstacles, and provide advice, guidance, encouragement, and constructive feedback.
  • Define strategic objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) for your area of responsibility, ensuring that they are measurable and contribute to the achievement of business goals.
  • Guide the development and management of processes, lessons learned, and best practices with each of the managers within your area of responsibility, continuously driving improvements and efficiency.
  • Act as a point of escalation for both customer and internal issues, providing timely resolutions and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Enable, support, and empower the managers and individual contributors reporting directly to you, fostering their career growth and development.
  • Effectively manage the workload within your department, ensuring resources are allocated appropriately to meet project and customer demands.
  • Proactively identify and recommend changes needed to improve operational effectiveness and drive positive outcomes for the organization.
  • Develop and own the onboarding plan for all new team members within your area of responsibility, ensuring a smooth transition and integration.
  • Develop timelines and action steps for anticipating, framing, and effectively communicating changes within your department or function.

Requirements:


  • Minimum 10 years’ experience working in a leadership position, with at least 3 of those years being in a Director role.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Master's degree preferred) or 8+ years applicable industry (benefits administration) experience
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within a Professional Services Organization or similar function
  • Strong strategic thinking and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and initiatives
  • Demonstrated experience in process improvement and driving operational efficiencies
  • Strong customer focus and problem-solving skills. Ability to build relationships and manage difficult conversations
  • Experience in coaching and developing managers within a team
