We are seeking an experienced
Senior Data Analyst.
This role resides in our Deliver team
and reports to our Program Manager. This position will be in Annapolis Junction, MD on customer site with a 10% travel requirement.SIXGEN supports cyber and intelligence missions by serving government and commercial organizations as they overcome global cybersecurity challenges. Our highly skilled operators conduct research and assessments based on real-world threats. We simulate adversaries and malicious actors to report details and actionable findings on critical assets and infrastructures. Our program planners advise mission owners to bring rapid solutions to intelligence mission leaders.

Core Responsibilities:
- Perform the planning, process, implementation, and documentation of Data Discovery, Management, Integration, and Mining.
- Perform Modeling and Simulation activities, including, but not limited to linear and nonlinear M&S and SME knowledge in M&S, especially in areas of operational & industrial research for resource management.
- Provide Data Analytics Software Tool Support and guidance, including formal and informal training.
- Research and propose the use of tools, techniques, methods, and models already developed and available for use.
- Maintain and update handbooks, manuals, job aides, dictionaries, and other centralized documentation which contain approved methods, sources, data sets, and techniques.
- Develop prototype datasets, integrating data across databases and from enriched content. Follow an agile Analytic Development Life Cycle, to include requirements gathering, transparent development, testing, and peer review.
- Design, develop, and brief analytical reports including ad hoc, descriptive, predictive and prescriptive tables and visualizations.
- Provide direction and/or support to junior data analysts.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Data Science, Operations Research, or Computer Science.
- Minimum of 6 years of professional experience as a data analyst with at least 3 years in DoD and/or IC data management and/or analysis experience.
- Experience with DoD and/or IC Program, Planning, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) is desired.
