Bestgate Engineering is seeking an experienced full-stack Java Software Engineer with basic Linux skills and Git experience. The role involves data transformation software development for a long running Cyber effort. Responsibilities include implementing data mappings in software and verifying results in corporate repositories.
Telework may be available.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Fourteen (14) years experience as a Software Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
- Experience with Java development.
- Defining and reviewing requirements
- Designing dataflow through the transformation architecture
- Unit testing
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field is preferred. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in engineering will be considered.
- Required Security Clearance: TS/SCI w/Poly
Desired Skills:
- XML schemas and serialization (e.g., Jackson)
- Git CI, NIFI, Kubernetes/Docker, ELK, GraphQL, MinIO/Amazon S3, MongoDB, Redis

Part-time may be considered; minimum of 30 hours/week.
