Maintain and keep clean all areas around the facility to comply with the guidelines and standards set forth by the government and other agencies.
This shift is Monday through Friday, 3 pm to 11:30 pm.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Work in varying temperatures and areas of facility including freezer, crisper, dry warehouse and outside of the facility year-round with temps ranging from -10°F to 90°F+
Restock supplies as needed in all the following areas:
Bathrooms once daily (office, warehouse, garage, body shop, and offsite location)
Lunchroom (office, warehouse, and garage)
Coffee areas (office and warehouse)
Sweep aisles / dock areas and keep all warehouse areas free from debris and up to food grade standards.
Empty recycle bins in office areas.
Empty and clean garbage cans (warehouse, parking lot, garage, and body shop).
Bale shrink wrap and cardboard in accordance with training and established procedures.
Clean up spills, debris, trash and any other debris as needed in all areas of the premises inside and outside, in accordance with GMP’s and company food safety plan including properly maintaining food allergen controls.
Floor scrub aisles and dock areas.
Clean and wipe down walls and ledges.
Sweep parking lot in front of docks and common area.
Clean bathrooms, breakrooms, and coffee areas minimum of once daily (office, warehouse, and garage).
Assist with snow removal and maintaining safe walking and parking surfaces to and from the buildings.
All duties as required to maintain company safety and sanitation requirements as outlined in the facility food safety plan and in accordance with documented daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly sanitation tasks.
Other duties as assigned by company management.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Ability to safely operate a rider pallet jack and sit-down forklift.
Ability to safely operate a sit-down and walk behind floor scrubber, including proper cleaning and care of the scrubbers.
Ability to safely operate a mobile work platform (i.e., scissor lift).
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. repeatedly.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Hazardous material knowledge and training.
Knowledgeable in the use of a baler.
5S and Lean Manufacturing principles with ability to apply theory of the operation.
