Who We Need:
The Manager of Enterprise Software Solutions is responsible for management and support of business processes executed in all backend-office systems. The Manager of Enterprise Software Solutions works closely with the Director, ESS on the architecture, support, maintenance, deployment, and enhancement of business software applications. Additionally, the Software Solutions Manager is responsible for planning and overseeing technical development being executed by both internal and vendor led teams – while working collaboratively with business units delivering technical solutions that meet goals and objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and manage the work activities of direct reports in the area of application development for business applications that include new solutions and enhancement of existing systems
- Collaborate with key business stakeholders to plan, prioritize, and schedule applications development and enhancement requests, while providing direction and guidance to the ESS development team
- Accountable for meeting team SLA’s related to work and response to work.
- Drives stakeholder satisfaction by delivering quality technical solutions and support with controlled and planned change management
- Communicate project status to various levels of management
- Provide oversight to the ESS development team in standards adherence through reviews of project work including detailed business requirements and technical design
- Proven experience in managing relationships with internal stakeholders
- A passion for all things tech and a drive to experiment with new technologies to see where they can benefit the business
- An interest in staying hands-on technical as well as wearing that team management hat
Education & Experience:
- BS degree preferred, or 7+ years of relevant work experience
- Expertise in business process analysis, requirements gathering, solution design and development, enterprise application support for customer data life cycle through all back-end office applications, and a strong business understanding
- Experience working in business applications including, but not limited to, Salesforce, JIRA/Confluence, NetSuite, and Spiff
- Experience in a management or supervisory role on an application delivery team
- Excellent communication skills
- Established project management skills
