About the Role:
As a Technical Product Manager, you will be responsible for building the company’s product portfolio, technology and operating the information systems platforms that drive our business.We are data-driven and committed to finding simple solutions to complex problems. A successful Technical Product Manager will use data and insights to guide decisions, always prioritizing customer outcomes. Building trust with teams and internal stakeholders is essential, achieved by living our Core Values and following the EOS processes.
Job Duties:
- Portfolio Management: Ensure a comprehensive portfolio of client software, hosted software, and services to meet the needs of diverse customer personas
- Business Execution: Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Services, Finance, Marketing, and Sales teams to drive the delivery and enablement of the offering portfolio
- Product Marketing: Create compelling product pitch decks, data sheets, battle cards, and positioning marketing materials
- Sales Enablement: Ensure Sales has the necessary tools, including product training, deal pricing, collateral, and GTM assets
- Roadmap Creation and Strategy Development: Work with the CPO and other stakeholders to create, implement, and maintain all product roadmaps
- Product Roadmap Execution: Deliver on the roadmap in terms of quality, timing and adoption.
- Product Documentation: Work with Development to provide comprehensive product documentation for internal teams and external customers
- Customer Engagement in Product Process: Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success to engage with new and existing customers and prospects to understand pain points and use cases
- Competitive Market Analysis: Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date competitive analysis to ensure market viability
- Product Vendor Relationships: Serve as the main point of contact for key product vendor relationships, including contract negotiations
- Provide Input to Product Development Core Processes: Collaborate with Development & Operations to optimize processes and ensure adherence
- Data Stewardship: Enhance privacy and security of data by collaborating with legal teams
- Human-Centered Design: Partner with UX and Marketing teams to deliver a seamless and delightful user experience across mobile, desktop, and web platforms
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, or Engineering
- Experience: 8+ years of progressive product management experience
- Skills:
- Proven ability to work with distributed teams and collaborate with Engineering, Services, Finance, Sales, and Marketing teams
- Experience setting priorities and release schedules, defining goals and success metrics, and ensuring on-schedule delivery
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Creativity in UX design, with the ability to conceptualize, develop, and implement innovative features and solutions
- Strong sense of ownership and track record of delivering quality work
- Experience representing the product team and collaborating with Finance, Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Experience teams
- Proficiency with Agile methodologies, release cycles, and backlog management
- Experience with data center technologies and economics
- Experience with public cloud technologies and economics
