POSITION OVERVIEW
The Director of Wholesale will lead the strategic expansion of our B2B sales, introducing and establishing Soko Glam’s presence and influence in the US retail market. This role is crucial for driving business growth and increasing market share through effective management of our wholesale channels.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement a comprehensive wholesale strategy to penetrate and expand our presence within the U.S. national retail landscape, aligning with overall business goals.
- Harness and leverage strong existing relationships while actively developing new partnerships with major U.S. retailers to boost B2B sales and brand visibility.
- Oversee negotiations and manage strategic partnerships with key accounts, ensuring sustained growth and brand alignment.
- Continuously analyze market trends and consumer behaviors, adapting strategies to meet the evolving needs of the industry and to capitalize on emerging opportunities.
- Coordinate with teams across marketing, product development, and logistics to ensure seamless operations and maintain brand consistency throughout all channels.
- Set and achieve financial targets, including sales goals and budget management.
- In partnership with the Head of the Korea Office, provide strategic leadership and direction to the wholesale team, fostering an environment that encourages growth, high performance, and positive team dynamics.
- Regularly provide detailed reports and insights on market dynamics and sales performance to the Head of Korea Office, recommending strategic adjustments as needed to optimize outcomes.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in the beauty industry, with robust knowledge of market trends and consumer behavior.
- At least 7 years of specialized experience in B2B sales, with a proven track record of success in managing and growing wholesale accounts.
- Strong established sales networks in various national retail channels within the US.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with the ability to inspire teams and maintain significant customer relationships.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and strategic planning skills.
In accordance with the applicable law, the following represents a good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum compensation range for this position:The estimated annual pay range for this role is $130,000-$165,000.
- There may be future opportunities for continued pay progression based on continued strong performance in the role.
