Strategic Financial Analyst


to join the Finance team in our beautiful downtown Austin office.

Who you are:


You are a talented financial professional with the ability to use your analytical abilities to create financial forecasts, report on and analyze key business metrics and support stakeholders in making business decisions.To be successful in this role, you should possess a combination of strong quantitative abilities, business acumen, and communication skills.

What you get to do every day:


  • Build, maintain and improve the corporate financial model to support stakeholders with key business decisions and provide insight to management
  • Analyze operating and financial results (budget to actuals) as part of the monthly forecast process and ensure accurate and timely completion of alldeliverables
  • Compilefinancial and business reports including board and investor packages, bank compliance and other management reporting
  • Partner with revenue operations and customer operations teams to track and manage key performance metrics
  • Prepare reports related to operational or strategic initiatives, analyze significant variances from planned or forecasted results and provide interpretative comments and recommendations to management

What you bring to the role:


  • 1-3 years of experience ininvestment banking, private equity and/or an FP&Arole within a technology business
  • BA/BS Degree in finance, accounting or a related field
  • Advanced Excel skills required. Experience with Salesforce is a plus
  • Ability to leverage analytical tools and statistics to perform analysis and forecasting of financial and other business information; strong financial modeling background required
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting 
  • Ability to manage competing priorities effectively and build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization  
  • Experience working on small teams and track record of being an excellent collaborator
  • Excellent verbal and written skills and a keen attention to detail
  • Software or technology experience and understanding of SaaS business operating frameworks a strong plus
  • Strong preference for candidates located in Austin, TX
