Procon Consulting is seeking a Construction Project Manager. The candidate will have responsibilities that include but not limited to construction, design/build, architecture and engineering, space management, facilities management, real estate, and leasing of complex construction projects. This role requires 5-10 years of experience in construction management on projects for construction, mechanical systems, interior renovations, upgrades or new fit-outs. The ideal candidate will posses the following skills and requirements:
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or architecture.
- At least 5 years’ experience as a facility design engineer or construction project manager.
- Relevant experience includes, but is not limited to, a comprehensive knowledge of engineering principles and analytical techniques to support complex engineering assignments .
- Experience utilizing Microsoft Office applications and at least some familiarity with AutoCAD.
- Experience with coordinating with architects and engineers to create and design construction documents.
- Experience with reviewing design document submittals, reviewing cost and schedule estimates, collecting, preparing, and reporting programmatic information.
- Fluent in project management principles and how to implement Project Management principles.
- Ability to analyze all relevant project-related information and communicate project status and major issues in writing or verbally.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications, interpret contract terms and conditions, working knowledge of CPM scheduling, communication skills, intermediate computer skills and Leadership skills.
- Experience with scope writing and field QA/QC experience.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Provide assistance and technical support in the identification, development, and preparation of FSRM, Non Appropriated Funds (NAF) and customer-funded programs. Work with customers to define project requirements, prepare cost estimates, and draft statements of work and other components of the acquisition package for government approval and submission.
- Coordinate with other governmental personnel, as necessary, to define project requirements, ensure compliance with Federal, State, local and Air/Space Force regulations.
- Provide construction oversight as necessary to ensure compliance with Statement of Work, design drawings and applicable code requirements, and provide feedback to the government.
- Work with contractor and customer to identify any issues on site during construction and assist 21 CES-Peterson with recommendations for resolution. Manage planning of external projects and projects USSF bids out.
- Review contractor on-site progress and provide 21 CES-Peterson with recommendations/inputs on a weekly basis regarding project completion % and how well contractor is adhering to their approved schedule.
