Position Summary:
The SDR Team Lead will oversee a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDR) responsible for identifying and qualifying B2B sales opportunities. The Team Lead will be hands-on, working as both a manager and an individual contributor, working closely with both the internal marketing and sales teams.The SDR Team Lead is responsible for driving inbound and outbound activities for target industries, customers, and contacts, with the goal of converting conversations to opportunities, based on well-established criteria.
This people manager role requires a self-starting, proactive, results-oriented sales professional with a technical aptitude and exceptional communication skills. This pivotal role is a proving ground for future advancement into account management, sales, and product marketing / management for those that are interested. Individuals in this role will have considerable support and resources to ensure success.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Running day-to-day activities for a sales development team (typ. 5-6 SDRs) including prospect outreach, target development, and sales qualification
- Coaching SDRs to optimum performance
- Achieving individual and team-based quotas
- Organizing and deploying team resources in accordance with stated objectives
- Advancing team proficiency and training for SparkCognition solutions, technologies, and their corresponding value propositions.
- Develop resources including, but not limited to, call scripts and outbound emails
- Collaborating with marketing operations and sales operations to ensure a smooth hand-off of new opportunities
- Interview, hire, and retain top talent
- Mentoring your team members to create clear paths toward their own career goals
- Measuring and reporting against KPIs, as well as creating reports as needed or requested by senior management
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, business or related field
- 1+ years of sales management related experience
- 3+ years of sales experience in B2B
- Based in Austin,TX and surrounding areas
- Proficiency in English
- Technical aptitude, with desire to learn about AI and its practical applications
- Familiarity with Salesforce/Hubspot, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Navigator and Outreach preferred
