POSITION SUMMARY:
CCI Health Services is looking for a Cloud and System Administrator to join our team! This role is responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, networking equipment, servers, and virtualization.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Demonstrate a commitment to service, organization values, and professionalism through appropriate conduct and demeanor at all times.
- Responsible for maintaining, configuring, and reliably operating computer systems, networking equipment, servers, and virtualization.
- Lead the Installation and upgrade of computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact issues.
- Lead in the installation and configuration of Cloud Objects, Network routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Serve as an escalation point for troubleshooting difficult problems or complex inquiries.
- Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrading IT Infrastructure.
- Perform regular Cloud based-backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.
- Subject matter expertise support during patching, maintenance, upgrades, and other related activities.
- Administrate and document cloud environments for internal and clinical needs. Address areas such as architecture, costs, scalability, Cloud CI/CD design, container management, security, maintenance, and testing.
- Responsible for Cloud capacity planning, Cloud storage administration, and Cloud service performance tunning.
- Update job knowledge by tracking emerging Cloud technologies and participating in educational opportunities.
- Participate in “off-hours”, weekend, and on-call support on a rotation basis.
- Collaborate with multiple teams, including but not limited to EMR HR, and Financial systems.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cloud Administration/Management, or equivalent experience required.
- In-depth knowledge of the TCP/IP protocol.
- Minimum of five (5) years of systems, cloud administration experience and network administration.
- Proven knowledge of Cloud security architecture, securing and hardening Cloud Systems, storage, data protection, and Cloud disaster recovery protocols.
- Thorough understanding of the threat and attack landscape, attack vectors, vulnerabilities, and how they are leveraged by malicious actors.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS:
- AWS, Oracle Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Cisco, and ITIL Preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Prolonged periods of standing, bending, or working at a desk on a computer.
- The ability to lift (up to 15lbs) is required.
