This platform serves as a key touchpoint for public health professionals interacting with our system. Your efforts in developing intuitive and user-friendly interfaces will enhance user engagement and satisfaction, directly influencing the platform's adoption and effectiveness in public health settings.Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in developing new user-facing features, ensuring they are intuitive and efficient.
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use to ensure design consistency and efficiency across the platform.
- Guarantee the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and implement innovative visual elements.
- Optimize application elements for maximum speed, scalability, and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability and meet technical requirements.
- Facilitate user feedback gathering and incorporate findings into the development process to enhance user satisfaction and platform functionality.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- 4+ years of proven experience in front-end development.
- Expertise in web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3.
- Proficiency in client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks.
- Experience with responsive and adaptive design, not just from a technical standpoint but also understanding user psychology and preferences.
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities and strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with the project team.
- U.S. Citizenship, Green Card, or EAD required.
- Must be able to meet any other requirements for government contracts for which they are hired (e.g., must reside in the U.S.)
