ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build a secure, robust, and scalable cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services
- Automate or replace existing tools with AWS or Red hat products
- Implement network, security, firewall, VPC peering etc.
- Write documentation, sample code, tutorials, best practices recommendations, and technical presentations that adapt to different levels of critical business and technical stakeholders.
- Build tools, automation, and standards to scale the development team.
- Creating and implementing automation and deployment frameworks (CI/CD pipelines) to improve the software development process.
- Ensuring smooth running of production systems and test or staging environments.
- Resolve issues with AWS services like VPC, EC2, EBS, S3, ASG, CloudWatch, Lambda, and Load Balancer etc.
- Have continuous development and testing techniques together with documentation.
- Work in collaboration with the IT staff and developers to monitor the code releases.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- 5+ years of experience with Network, security, Broadcom API Gateway, AWS API Gateway, and working with ACM and certificate Management including tokens is must.
- 4+ years of experience in Implementing the best practices for monitoring applications and create recommendations on how the application team can improve their applications
- 4+ Strong automation and proven ability to adapt new tools and technologies
- 3+ years of experience in supporting 24/7 live applications with millions of requests/calls in a month
- 3+ years of experience to Utilize Container & Container Orchestration tools – AWS ECS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
- Candidates must have lived in the United States 3 out of the past 5 years
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- AWS DevOps Certifications
EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Technical experience: 8 -10 years
