Streamline Innovations, Inc. is seeking a Field Engineer for its Midland, TX, office. The Field Engineer will serve as a technical point of contact for our clients, overseeing operational success, troubleshooting & fostering customer satisfaction. This position requires a hands-on approach to resolving technical challenges. Additionally, the Field Engineer will manage and track projects to ensure timely completion. The successful candidate will demonstrate technical proficiency, strong communication skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

  • Engage in daily collaboration with the operations team, strategically prioritizing activities to sustain and enhance customer accounts
  • Troubleshoot & resolve operational challenges through collaboration with the operations team
  • Act as a point of contact for key customers, build and maintain strong customer relations
  • Monitor, manage, & complete action items while coordinating with the customer base to provide updates on progress and completion
  • Provide exceptional customer support, addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Coordinate with field operations team and logistics personnel to ensure timely delivery of necessary parts and equipment for on-site repairs, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient service delivery
  • Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability of operations
  • Maintain proactivity by recognizing problems and making improvements as needed
  • Ensure the quality of service delivered to customers, conducting regular quality checks and addressing any issues promptly
  • Facilitate regular operational meetings with customers, delivering comprehensive presentations on action item progress, performance metrics, and continuous project updates
  • Facilitate and monitor billable services communication in adherence to the client’s contractual agreement(s)
  • Facilitate a seamless transition to the operations staff upon the deployment of new units
  • Other field responsibilities and duties as assigned

Requirements


Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, or software systems
  • Familiarity with basic business software programs (Microsoft Suite including Outlook, Dynamics Business Central and Teams)
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Display professionalism in customer meetings and with coworkers
  • Flexible and adaptable as a critical member of a growing organization
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Must be safety and environmentally conscious
  • Must be punctual and willing to work long hours if needed
  • Must be willing to travel to the field and, on occasions, travel overnight as needed

Preferred:

  • 2+ years plus gas production and/or gas processing/treatment experience
  • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and maintaining complex systems and equipment
  • Familiarity with project management tools and software

Work Environment - Conditions vary and include:

  • 50% Controlled Office Environment
  • 50% On-site with ambient temperatures ranging from 15-115°F degrees

  • Field work covering West Texas
  • Driving to and from location is required
  • Compliance with general industry and site-specific safety policies is required

Physical Requirements


  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to maintain forklift & manlift operator certificate
  • Must be able to lift to 50 pounds at times
  • Must be able to travel as needed
