We are a rapidly expanding technology company seeking a highly motivated Senior Technical Recruiter with strong sourcing experience to join our team on a W2 contract basis. This is for maternity coverage but the role could be extended. In this role, you will collaborate with hiring managers and clients to understand their needs and develop effective recruiting strategies to identify and attract top talent in the technology industry. As a key member of our team, you will manage the entire recruiting process, from creating job descriptions and sourcing candidates to evaluating resumes, conducting interviews, negotiating offers, and onboarding new hires/contractors.

 What you’ll do:   


  • Provide full life cycle, high volume recruiting for various predominantly technical positions.
  • Source, evaluate, network, and hire top tier talent for our Client Services and Space & Defense teams.
  • Craft and distribute effective job descriptions to build a compelling pitch for qualified candidates.
  • Creatively source passive candidates for tough-to-fill positions.
  • Partner with engineering leaders to understand their hiring needs and educate them on maximizing hiring output for their team.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring teams.
  • Provide a top-notch candidate experience.
  • Help fill the highest priority positions as efficiently as possible.
  • Influence senior leaders and act as a strategic talent acquisition partner.

 Qualifications:  


  • 5+ years of technical recruiting experience, ideally in both agency and corporate environments.
  • 2+ years of experience recruiting for positions for Department of Defense or related roles.
  • 2+ years of experience hiring candidates with active Security clearance (Secret level and above).
  • Experience hiring various software developer positions (i.e. front end, back end, full stack). 
  • Experience sourcing both cleared and uncleared top-tier talent to meet the hiring goals of the long-range plan and build candidate pipelines for upcoming and future growth demands.
  • Professional experience with recruiting software & sourcing tools.
  • Experience recruiting for a wide array of technical and non-technical, including specialized positions in Data Science, Data Engineering, DevSecOps, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders.
  • Experience hitting or exceeding performance goals consistently.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to a fast-paced/ambiguous environment.

 Preferred Qualifications:


  • Professional experience with Greenhouse ATS.
  • Experience in diversity and veteran recruiting programs.
  • Experience tracking metrics and utilizing data to make decisions, including hiring timeline, recruiter bandwidth, or offer acceptance rate.
  • Experience working in a startup and/or SMB environment.
  • A love for solving challenging problems and building programs for scale.
  • Strong organizational skills and an ability to quickly prioritize competing priorities.
