We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Spacecraft Production Lead to join our diverse and dynamic team. You will develop production processes and documentation, build a team as the company grows, create technical facilities, and lead spacecraft integration and test activities from cradle-to-grave. YOUR PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
• Leading and executing plans for spacecraft subassembly builds and tests• Conducting comprehensive system-level testing on spaceflight hardware• Overseeing environmental test campaigns, including EMI, Vibration, and Thermal Vacuum• Identifying and implementing essential ground support equipment• Supporting system engineering verification activities• Leading design, integration, and test readiness reviews• Commissioning and maintaining our production ecosystem, including work order and inventory systems• Managing facilities such as cleanrooms and flight hardware build areas• Building and developing a diverse team of manufacturing engineers, test engineers, and technicians
KEY CREDENTIALS:
• BS in Engineering or related field• At least 5 years of relevant experience• Experience in spacecraft integration and functional testing• Experience in drafting and executing work orders or build instructions per AS9100 or similar standards• Experience in writing test procedures• Experience in environmental testing• Knowledge of cleanroom and ESD-sensitive build operations• Experience with non-conformance reporting and documentation processes• Onsite work location within the DMV area• Willingness to travel to test, integration, and launch site(s)
NICE-TO-HAVE CREDENTIALS:
