We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled SAP Test Lead to support our Department of Defense client in modernizing their SAP ERP system. This role requires a clear understanding of SAP functionality and its application within DoD environments.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the SAP testing team in planning, executing, and managing comprehensive testing strategies for SAP implementations, upgrades, and enhancements
- Responsible for communicating and reporting status and issues to Manager as required
- Oversee project to make sure work is scheduled based on priorities, risks, and team strengths and assist with assignment of resources
- Demonstrate leadership accountability for testing on the projects assigned
- Independently drive issues to closure, escalating to leadership as needed
- Assist in identifying process improvement opportunities and implement solutions when appropriate
- Apply a systematic approach to data gathering and analysis to make key decisions that are supported by facts
- Utilize testing tools and methodologies to automate test scripts, optimize testing processes, and improve overall efficiency (e.g., Tricentis, Selenium, BMC)
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent related work experience
- 10+ yrs. in strong SAP Test Management and leadership skills
- Experience with SAP Test Management, SAP Best Practices, Estimation, Planning and Strategy
- Delivery experience leading projects through a standard software testing methodology (test planning, test scope identification, test case development, test execution, and defect management)
- Experience with client and stakeholder management
- Hands on experience with SIT, Defect Management activities, Risk Management
- Exhibit confident, tactful oral communication with peers and IT leaders
- Deliver day-to-day assignments with a high level of quality and attention to detail
- Good analytical and reporting skills
