In this role, you will own the delivery of major, cross-functional strategic and operational initiatives. As Versapay continues its rapid growth, the need for alignment and execution of these programs is crucial. This is an excellent opportunity for a business-minded strategist with proven experience in building and delivering key programs. You will provide thought leadership, frame milestones and timelines, make recommendations, drive cross-functional alignment, tracking, and execution, and help solve roadblocks. To accomplish this, you’ll have experience leading and managing cross-functional technical programs,as well as delivering products to market.  In addition, experience in strategy consulting, or in operations at a SaaS and/or Payments company is highly preferred. 

What you'll do:


  • Oversee execution of cross-functional programs: Identify program goals, frame workstreams and approach, establish roles & responsibilities and drive meeting cadence to deliver in the most efficient way.  
  • Drive progress and resolve roadblocks: Monitor and report on progress, identify and escalate issues, and work cross-functionally to address them proactively and creatively. 
  • Ensure goals are met: manage timelines, track progress, analyze results, and ensure stated objectives are achieved. Assist with execution where needed, ensuring all aspects of programs are progressing smoothly. 
  • Build and improve processes: Remove operational roadblocks, simplify, seek out, propose, and build new processes to help us achieve our objectives. 
  • Lead with data: Partner with analytics and other teams to identify key insights, quantify opportunities/results, and ensure prioritization and capture of these opportunities. 
  • Develop technical delivery plans which outline the milestones and check lists at various stages of the product delivery life cycle. Partner with product and engineering teams to develop project plans with technical activities.  
  • Facilitate the go-live, inclusive of working with teams to identify beta customers, communications development and go-to-market activities.  
  • Support other strategic priorities: Support the Chief Product Officer and other Leadership Team members on strategic and operational initiatives as required. 
  • Conduct strategic research on vendor offerings and capabilities, customer need and competitive market trends. 
  • Drive operations for the product management function to ensure we have best-in-class routines and norms.  

What you'll bring to the team:


  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; MBA or Masters’ degree is an asset.  PMP or similar project management certification is a plus. 
  • Experience: 5-7 years, including proven track recordof managing cross-functional and technical programs, as well as launching new products. This includes partnering with product, engineering, and other functions to define product roadmap and key milestones, managing beta programs, helping establish and track performance and product KPIs.  Related industry experience in Payments and/or SaaS is a strong asset. 
  • Strategic mindset: Outcomes-focused mindset to determine effectiveness and ROI of programs, looking beyond the day-to-day to help reach big-picture goals. 
  • Business acumen: Ability to understand business drivers, client needs, and how they translate into value and actionable ideas. 
  • Drive and follow-through:Excellent organizational skills, work ethic, and passion to deliver on commitments. Strong leadership skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams.Knowledge of what needs to be done and how to lead others to help make it happen.  
  • Agility: Comfort with ambiguous and complex problemsand a flexible and open-minded approach to new challenges. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.  
  • Leadership through influence: Assertive with humility; able to lead change in a positive way. Negotiation skills with ability to influence where differences of opinion or approach exist.  
  • Data fluency:Affinity to work with data and insights, synthesize data, optimize, and make recommendations to a variety of audiences. 
  • Communication:Clear articulation of ideas to a variety of audiences, including at executive level. Ability to write, speak, and present in a compelling manner. 
  • Attitude: Optimistic style that creates positive working relationships, amplifies team culture, and fosters collaboration. 

$120,000 - $140,000 a yearThe salary range is $120,00 - $140,000.#LI-Remote
