About the team:
The Product Engineering team Champion Polkadot technology, fostering vibrant communities and attracting new players. It drives success by supporting users, resolving challenges, and gathering valuable feedback to fuel organic growth and continuous improvements to the Polkadot protocol and ecosystem.The Product Engineering team connects the Polkadot ecosystem's developers with Parity. We focus on streamlining the developer experience, from building and deploying to consuming Polkadot’s blockspace.
We also influence Polkadot's product development decisions by providing valuable feedback and insights. This ensures that technological and strategic advancements align with the community's needs.
About the position:
- Collecting technical feedback from the ecosystem to better comprehend and address their requirements.
- Support Ecosystems to proficiently use polkadot technology
- Design solutions with new onboarding customers
- Capturing, evaluating, and presenting feedback for maximum positive impact.
- Owning the launch of new solutions, updates, and improvements to ensure they meet ecosystem requirements.
- Advocate the usage of polkadot technology according to the roadmap
About you:
- Deep Dive into Customer Needs: Understand the specific requirements and challenges faced by Web3 developers within the Polkadot ecosystem.
- Knowledge of the web3 spaces: main players in the web3 space and ecosystems.
- Knowledge of Blockchain Technologies: Possess a good foundation in smart contract development (Solidity and/or Ink!/WASM) and broader blockchain technologies.
- Polkadot & Beyond: Demonstrate knowledge in Polkadot's technology and architecture, while maintaining awareness of other Web3 platforms like Ethereum and Solana.
- Continuous Learner: Foster a growth mindset, staying up-to-date with the evolving Web3 landscape.
- Technical Advocate: Engage with customers, passionately advocating for the adoption of cutting-edge Web3 solutions powered by Parity Technologies.
- Thrive in Dynamism: Embrace the complexity and fast-paced nature of the Web3 environment.
- Polkadot Expertise Preferred: Prior experience working within the Polkadot ecosystem is a valuable asset but not required.
