Primary Responsibility

Must reside in the surrounding Philadelphia area


The Treatment Operations Specialist participates in the planning, communication, and implementation of Adaptimmune processes and systems at Clinical Sites and Commercial Authorized Treatment Centers. The scope includes but is not limited to the creation and delivery of training, and operational assistance including addressing questions and issues. This role coordinates plans and actions with Adaptimmune departments including but not limited to Customer Solutions, Medical Affairs, Supply Chain, Global Logistics, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and Information Technology.  The Treatment Operations Specialist ensures that the required documentation (i.e., site training records) are complete and stored at Adaptimmune.  In addition, this role captures site feedback, shares with the appropriate Adaptimmune parties, and develops action plans to facilitate issue resolution and process improvements.Key Responsibilities

  • Leads internal training and implementation of TrakCel OCELLOS platform and other tools required to facilitate treatment.
  • Provides internal user support post-rollout.
  • Collaborate with Authorized Treatment Centers, Patient Support, Field Teams, Clinical sites, and other Adaptimmune teams to identify, document and action improvement opportunities.
  • Contributes to the creation and delivery of training material for in-scope systems, including but not limited to Chain of Custody/Chain of Identity.  Contributes to the creation and delivery of site communication regarding Adaptimmune plans.
  • Main contact for questions and issues triaged through Adapt Assist regarding site and internal usage of Adaptimmune processes, systems and services.  Coordinates the resolution of questions and issues, engaging the appropriate Adaptimmune teams.
  • Ensures that internal training records specific to Treatment Operations systems and procedures are captured, created, and maintained in the designated Adaptimmune system(s).

Qualifications & Experience

Required


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, supply chain, health information management or relevant discipline
  • 3+ years within a healthcare administration, customer service, supply chain or similar role, preferably within clinical research, pharmaceutical or biotech industry.

Desirable


  • Experience with cell and gene therapy logistics & supply chains.
  • Experience with early stage and late-stage clinical research/commercial pharmaceutical/biotech companies.
  • Treatment or Patient Operations experience.

other requirements

  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Travel approximately 20-25%; Periodic travel to Authorized Treatment Centers is required.  Ability to travel internationally (valid passport).
