Ninety Eight is looking for a highly skilled detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join our Team. As the Compliance Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our organization adheres to all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitoring all operational processes and to ensure the compliance with all legal regulations and ethical standards;
- Managing information flow by researching, recording, and analysing data and information;
- Conducting compliance risk assessments, ensuring e that the business runs smoothly;
- Managing audits, inspections, and regulatory submissions;
- Advising the board of directors and other corporate officers on a variety of issues;
- Training and educating staff so that they are informed of any legal changes and updates to compliance guidelines;
- Review and maintain all terms and conditions of company websites ensuring they are always compliant;
- Drafting new and review existing contracts and agreements relating to the companies’ operational activities both internally and externally;
- Providing guidance and training to the board of directors, senior management, and employees;
- Conducts regular assessments to determine whether policies are compliant with the law.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years' experience in a legal and compliance related role.
- Experience designing compliance-related guidelines.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Experience working collaboratively across different teams and departments.
- A well organized self-starter who is able to work independently
- Enthusiasm for learning.
- Familiarity with Blockchain/Crypto Asset/AML-CFT/Sanctions/Personal Data Protection laws and regulations is a plus.
