Global Expansion Manager at Kaia Foundation
Summary:The Global Expansion Manager is responsible for expanding Kaia's global community. More specifically, You will be responsible for planning the localization strategy for key markets in Asia, building the team and executing the business in line with that strategy. In the second half of '24, your primary markets will be Japan and Greater China, and focus will be on these regions. After that, you will gradually work on expanding outside of Asia. This includes developing and managing relationships with key stakeholders, conducting market research, and negotiating deals.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the blockchain industry, as well as experience in global community setting and business development.Responsibilities:
- Global Expansion plans like;
- Research to understand the blockchain business in key countries and regions
- Building networks with key local projects
- Build and manage teams with local members aligned with regional strategies
- Set and manage short to medium-term KPIs for each region
- Identify and evaluate strategic opportunities for growth like;
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends
- Business Develop and execute business plans like;
- Research financial services companies that are interested in bringing crypto and web3 services into new products and features and choose the best partners for our project
- Provide a strategic perspective to product and engineering teams, delivering critical business insights and launching initiatives that impact the market
- Work alongside other partnership leads to develop a comprehensive set of partners needed for our network
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience managing a team organization
- 5+ years of global scaling experience
- Strong understanding of the blockchain industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Well-organized with strong attention to details
- Strong network of enterprise executives and managers across various sectors is a plus
